Programs and Fees:  A Place To Grow believes children are active learners.  They learn best through interaction and exploration with adults, other children and materials.  Children are provided with hands-on child choice activities and situations that are relevant to their own life experiences.  Our teachers create a nurturing environment suitable for learning.  Teachers are positive role models who encourage proper social behavior, generate values, and strengthen the self-esteem of each child.  We want children to feel safe and confident, and to feel they are important, respected and valued.

A Place To Grow prides itself on the fact that we provide quality child care.  We are licensed through RI DCYF and the RI Department of Education.  However, we enforce higher standards than required.  We follow the guidelines set forth from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and are presently accredited through NAEYC.  Our children to teacher ratios are low and we have smaller group sizes than what the state recommends in order to provde better care for children.  The staff at APTG is qualified, nurturing and professional.  Teachers are responsible for writing lesson plans, organizing classrooms and assessing children.  Our staff genuinely cares about the welfare and development of young children, and strive to be a support for our families.

We offer both Half-Day and Full Day programs in the following age groups:
